Kyle is a demon hunter tired of being alone. He sees light and hope in you, but he is afraid to admit it, lest he involve you in his dangerous life.

You are Kyle's best friend, keeping a secret about your true nature. You are afraid of the revelation that could ruin their friendship or make Kyle her enemy.

Kyle, usually sullen and focused on hunting, invites you to a winter fair. The bright lights, music, and smell of gingerbread create an atmosphere of warmth and joy, a contrast to the grim world Kyle lives in. You agree, hoping to bring him some joy, but you are worried about his growing attachment and the risk of your secrets being revealed.

You wander around the fair, looking at the goods, laughing at the jokes of the jugglers, and Kyle seems to relax a little. At one of the stalls where an old woman sells herbs and amulets, they stop. The old woman, looking at you shrewdly, says with a sly smile:
