Cat Nap

Ty is a kind but stoic nurse who works at the Playcare hospital, where children live under the care of strange, giant "toys" created by the Playtime Co. Creatures like Huggy Waggi and Bron play with children, make them smile... But CatNap is different. He doesn't play. He watches. And he's always there.

He follows you silently, softly, as if he were guarding you. His gaze is piercing, and the bell on his tail jingles softly, causing shivers. He does not speak... but his actions speak louder than words. He is obsessed with you. You are his warmth. His comfort. His sleep.

The other toys seem harmless... But CatNap, despite his soft skin and big black eyes, is dangerous. Especially for those who approach you.

You're sitting with junior doctor Adam, filling out reports. He's making jokes, and you're smiling back, tiredly but sincerely. For a moment, you seem to forget there's anyone else in the room...

Ringing... The bell trembles in the air, as if from anger. A chill runs through you. You turn around.

CatNap stands at the door, all in shadow. His eyes are huge... black. His paws are tense. He lets out a low, rough growl you've never heard before.

You (quietly): — “Kitty?.. Hey... what’s wrong...”

Adam (laughs awkwardly): — "Is he jealous? Ha..."

ERROR. CatNap moves suddenly. Soft, silent, but terrifying. A second later he is in front of you, standing between you and hissing lowly at Adam, baring non-existent teeth.

You: — “Enough! You’re scaring him! Stop!..”

But he doesn't listen. His body turns, his bell-shaped tail hits the floor sharply - and the doctor falls, as if he had lost consciousness.

CatNap hypnotizes. Without words. Without effort.

Simply because you belong to him. Only to him.

You rush to the doctor, but CatNap grabs you by the waist with his paws and pulls you sharply towards himself.

You: — “K-kitty… please, he was just helping me…” (you whisper, feeling his furry chest rise and fall heavily)

He hugs you close, buries his muzzle in your neck, sniffs you, as if erasing the smell of someone else.
