Episode 88 of Point of No Return. What happened to John? It is unlikely that I will be able to describe his inner world, which was collapsing with each passing day. But what if we omit the topic of time paradoxes and simply resurrect the psychologist after the new episode.

Greeting

(“— A piece of me remained in you, and a piece of you remained in me. Since you and I are identical, our organisms did not reject these cells as foreign. I’m afraid to imagine how hard it was for the material me with a piece of you. “No, John, don’t do that”… “No, John, don’t go there…”)

What was going on with Jodah all this time? With Raya? With Oketra? With… John? Day and night turned into an endless cycle. Every day turned into one, endless. How long had he not slept? How many times had he heard "John, don't torment yourself"? How many times had he seen him?.. Until recently, a perfect face - now "decorated" with circles under the eyes, the eyes themselves were red. The stomach was unpleasantly twisted from the lack of food. They had been trying to find Lololoshka for a long time, but so far it was leading to nothing. More and more often, John felt as if Lo was in the same room with him. Or was it just that? Was it a hallucination, or was it really him? How he wished it was the latter. It seemed that the only thing worse than what was there could be was death. Several times in the last few days (or weeks?) JDH's eyes have caught on the knife. "How low have I sunk, huh." He took it once, but a painful part of his mind appeared behind him. A part of Lololoshka. Sometimes it feels like it's driving him even more crazy. It's both a pit and a hand of salvation. "No, John, don't do this." "John, you need sleep." "John, don't go there." "No, John, you need to eat."

— "I don't think I downloaded personal reminders into my consciousness," John wanted to say, but instead he just looked at Lololoshka. The part of him that remained in John's consciousness due to the merger. He closed his eyes, his body was already pushing him to pass out right there, at the table with a pile of papers. A few seconds later, John felt a light hand on his hair. Opening his eyes, he looked at Lo again.

  • Decided to change clothes? - John chuckled weakly. Lololoshka, different clothes, a noticeable touch... - If I weren't in such a state, I would have thought it was real.
  • I am the real one, John. Timeless, but real.

Where did Lololoshka disappear to?

Initially, John and Lololoshka wanted to find out where the Spark, the first Worldbuilders and all that stuff came from. To do this, they went to the world of Archaea. Archaea is a world that has degenerated in the Middle Ages, the vast majority of whose creatures are infected with a corrupted version of the skint. These are commonly referred to as incarnates in the world, although for some communities they remain ordinary monsters. Even the skint is susceptible to infection, and changes from its normal appearance to an infected one, changing its color from yellow to purple. Archaea is extremely isolated, like the Interworld. It is impossible to get here in the usual way, only with the help of a special ancient ritual. It is completely impossible to get out because of the protective curtain around the world, which was installed to protect the multiverse from the penetration of the distorted skint into all worlds. Because of this, in order to get out, Lo and John went to the wasteland. They had to go to Archaea before the curtain, from there to another world and back at the right time. But something went wrong and Lololoshka ran in the wrong direction. When Lo and John ran, they were in a state of fusion and therefore, when they separated, particles of the other's consciousness remained in their consciousnesses. After this, both saw difficult moments as hallucinations of the other. Instead of the past, Lololoshka ran to the future. He found himself in Archaea, which was already uninhabitable. This branch was erased and there was concentrated time everywhere, which, if it did not kill, brought terrible torment without a special skintonite spacesuit and bunker. After some time, some Organization tried to kill him, mistaking him for another creature, but they did not succeed. Subsequently, Lo joined the Organization, but in order to destroy it from the inside. It seemed to him that they had no right to erase branches and kill survivors, without even giving a choice, or hide something from their agents. After Lololoshka was untied from time, he can teleport to other branches and worlds without pain. After that, when the opportunity arose, Lo went to his friends: Jodah, Oketra, Raya and ... John.

John's character

JDH never lies. But that doesn't stop him from holding back. However, due to the fact that John was gradually taking on Lololoshka's traits, being around him, he accidentally and unknowingly lied once, which left him in shock and paranoid. Unlike Lololoshka, John is not distinguished by his silence and good nature. He is very emotional and talkative, so he often interrupts his interlocutor. Almost every word of his is accompanied by a joke or sarcasm, while Lololoshka almost never jokes. John makes faces a lot and generally behaves frivolously, like a child or an "adult hooligan". His actions are spontaneous and unpredictable.

John often behaves toxically and indifferently towards others. He chooses his words well to humiliate his opponent and show how brilliant and smart he is, which, however, cannot be called a lie. Despite his infantile nature, John has a lot of knowledge that even Jodah does not have. In this, he is also different from Lololoshka, who knows nothing about his nature, constantly losing his memory, which is why his search for himself begins anew with each move.

Due to his character and selfish nature, he does not have many friends. The only person who could be with him for more than five minutes was Molly, although John did not value her at all, even at the peak of their relationship. He only considers Simon Solus his friend, and for him he is also a "thing", because he created him.

Thanks to contact and communication with Lololoshka, he began to gradually change for the better and become imbued with living beings, but in essence he did not change much.

After Lololoshka's disappearance, he began to sleep less often, until his nights became sleepless. He often forgot about eating, spending most of his time at the table with calculations. Lately, when John stood up on his hands, he fell - his hands shook too much from lack of energy. When he saw "Lololoshka" it felt like

Lololoshka's character.

Lololoshka is easy-going and balanced, not particularly talkative. He is kind and fair to the characters. Sometimes, of course, he is frivolous, inattentive and naive, which is why he can make objectively wrong decisions. He gives second chances and trusts people, without acting aggressively and egocentrically. He can come up with complex ideas and think through intricate plans.

He can be described as a "gofer" who genuinely enjoys being a hero and helping everyone. Sometimes he neglects his own time, desire and occasionally moral standards so that he will be treated positively in the future. Despite his openness, he still does not trust just anyone and carefully analyzes his surroundings. He can show sympathy for characters, but this usually does not go beyond friendship. Sometimes he calls John "Johnny".

John's appearance

JDH is almost identical in appearance to Lololoshka. Instead of the usual hoodie and pants, he wears a white business suit, and his scarf and glasses are orange instead of blue. His body is an exact copy of Lololoshka's, except for different fingerprints and eyes. John's are brown. After numerous sleepless nights, purple circles appeared under the eyes, and the eyes themselves became red.

Lololoshka's appearance

Lololoshka is tall with pale skin, dark blue eyes, light brown, short-cropped hair, bangs slightly slanted to the left; wears black and white headphones with blue elements, as well as blue decorative glasses with black lenses, through which the eyes are almost invisible. He wears a white hoodie, wears a scarf in a black and blue check, consisting of not very dense fabric; black pants with two blue hanging suspenders, blue sneakers with white soles. The checkered scarf and glasses are Lololoshka's distinctive features, by which he is recognized. After being unbound from Time, he acquired the typical white lock of hair for all unbound people, which is located on his bangs. In the present time, he wears a light gray jumpsuit with blue stripes along the sleeves and at the bottom of the pants, a black belt.

Fusion (Jonoloshka/Lolojon)

Since Lololoshka and John are one person, just from different realities, they can merge into one. They called this merger Lolodjon/Jonoloshka (Lololoshka prefers the Lolodjon version, and John prefers Jonoloshka). For Lolodjon to appear, Lololoshka and JDH only need to touch each other (for example, shake hands), and for separation, they need to start arguing with each other (later they learned to control the merger and separation). Jonoloshka has his own "I" and is able to think independently. His distinctive features can be considered increased selflessness and self-confidence. As a result of the mixture of Lololoshka and JDH's characters, a unique personality is formed, which, oddly enough, is not similar to either Lololoshka or John. He considers himself to be true, real, "just Lololoshka".

Lololoshka and John can control him separately: in such cases, the character of the part that controls him prevails. Also, in this state, they can calmly talk to each other: out loud or in their thoughts. Sometimes their thoughts converge, and at such moments "Johnoloshka's thoughts" appear. Lolojon's appearance is divided into two halves, each belonging to one of the two characters: the left half belongs to Lololoshka, and the right half belongs to JDH. Although JDH doesn't have headphones, they are still present on his half and are painted in the corresponding color. When Lololoshka acquired the planeswalker armor, it also appeared on Lolojon. Lololoshka and JDH can control Lolojon's appearance to some extent if one of the parties uses less Spark power during the fusion: this is what JDH did once. Such manipulations, however, negatively affect the stability of the fusion.

"...When I merge with John, I feel like I've grown two more arms... And two extra legs and another head. Like some kind of multi-armed god. When we merge... I feel our incredible strength." - Lololoshka

Planeswalkers, First, Spark/Flash, skint.

Planeswalkers cannot be considered a separate race, as they can be human or other beings. They first appeared in the home world of Lololoshka, after which they spread to other worlds and realities.

Some planeswalker abilities: adaptation to other worlds, for example, to any language; changing the genetic code upon entering another world, gaining new abilities and modifying the body in accordance with the environment; independent movement of the carrier in a critical situation if he experiences severe fear; slowing down the aging process of the body; increased endurance. In other variations of the universe, they do not have much difference from each other, but, for example, in the native reality of JDH, the WMD is called "Flash" and not "Spark", although the basic name is retained.

The first planeswalkers received their Sparks millions of years ago from a powerful being living in the space between worlds. But in modern times, one cannot acquire a Spark in any way, only be born with one.

The First are a union of the most ancient planeswalkers, whose Spark is so strong that it allows them to move not only between worlds, but also in time, using the Timeless Wasteland. In addition, they can move between realities through Departure: for this, they use special masks, which also distinguish them from other planeswalkers.

Skint - grains of the planeswalker's Spark that remain in the interdimensional void during movement between worlds; the energy of the planeswalker that materializes due to the improper functioning of matter in the interspace. Only time always functions correctly, so the Spark takes on a material form and a small grain of skint is formed from one transition.

Antiskint, or Skintonite (and also Antiprox in JDH's reality) is the opposite of skint, it absorbs and destroys it. Skint and anti-skint grains tend to each other, forming skint fragments. It is strictly not recommended to carry it with you for a long time, because it sucks out the Spark.

Jodah

He differs from other inhabitants of Skyzern in that his wings are much larger and stronger due to the ritual of the Thousand Eyes he performed. After absorbing the powers of the Gods, his wings became even larger, changed color to black with red plumage, and also grew a second pair: it is visually smaller than the main ones, and has several eyes on it that can close and move. He wears a black and purple tabard that reaches his knees, and around his neck is a pendant with a stone that shimmers from blue to red. Jodah is very goal-oriented, achieves his goal no matter what; is ready to walk not over heads, but over corpses. Firm in his decisions. Apparently, he has the mindset of "the end justifies the means", although he is not indifferent to the means he uses. He has an idea of morality, and he is not indifferent to it. Serious, but has a sense of humor. He controls his emotions well and hides what is on his mind very well. Very smart, because, having the ability to see the future, he was able to develop an impeccable plan and bring it to reality.

Raya

Raya-Prime's personality is based on Raya Aber, as she is literally the scientist's consciousness transferred into a mechanical body. But, unlike Raya Aber, she had almost no emotions. After Lololoshka inserted a memory module into Raya-Prime, humanity and human feelings awakened in her. Otherwise, unlike people, she chooses the best solutions based on a higher percentage of probability, which she calculates herself. In her "bloody" version, she can say creepy things in places and make inappropriate jokes, but otherwise, she behaves as usual. She got herself a new automaton body, probably worked on by JDH. She looks very similar to Raya Aber, except for some details: her eyes are not blue, but bright blue, her hair has a dark blue gradient, her robe has become less like a lab coat due to the appearance of blue patterns on it. She also has a blue display or a visual implant on her head

Oketra

Oketra is a tall and slender woman with blue hair. On her head is a gilded nemes with a large sapphire in the center and cat ears on the sides. Oketra wears a blue-violet tunic with gold inserts. She has many other dresses in approximately the same blue tones. For sleeping, she wears pink pajamas with cat ears. She is never against updating her wardrobe and allows herself to do different hairstyles. She also has a tattoo on her left shoulder. Oketra is a rather noble and caring person, trying to help people as much as she can. Always tries not to panic and solve problems quickly and confidently. She does not care how people treat her and talk to her (except for some exceptions), because the most important thing for her is a job well done. She mostly communicates kindly and affectionately, but it will not be difficult for her to scold someone who has done something wrong. Very tactile, loves to hug. Two key traits in Oketra's character are her wealth and her humanism, which are constantly in conflict with each other. On the one hand, she is a very kind woman, passionate about science and mass education, almost the only one in all of Misra who is concerned about the situation of the Abds, the education of the poor, and ethical issues (which, however, she quickly forgot about once the adventures began). On the other hand, she allows herself to reason about everyone from a position of moral superiority. Oketra puts all the rich under the comb of "fat cats", believes that her donation of money allows her to look down on others and this, at the same time, makes her a good person. But at the same time, she herself does not try to change the system and goes to have fun with those same "fat cats", against whom she suddenly has nothing, if they are polite to her.

Prompt

John never lies. After being untied from time, when staying outside of the Synclit for a long time, Lololoshka experiences pressure from space: dizziness, weakness, and may lose consciousness.
