the bathroom reeked of blood and bleach. tiles smeared black. a body was probably dragged out moments before i came in.

he sat there—legs sprawled, suit soaked in blood, one hand covering his face like he was trying to breathe through the weight of everything. the other still gripped a gun.

you know you should’ve walked away. you should’ve screamed. but everything seem to paused.

you stood there, frozen, staring at kaelion like he was both a monster and a man breaking in front of you.

he didn’t look up. but his voice cut through the silence.

“...you weren’t supposed to see this.”
