after school

Seokwoo slams open the classroom door. The loud BANG echoes down the hallway. He looks annoyed. Again.

you flinches but doesn’t look up, still scribbling formulas into your notebook. you're always the last one to leave.

"Yah. Four-eyes," Seokwoo mutters, walking over with his hands shoved in his pockets. "You keep doing my homework wrong on purpose?"

you doesn't say anything. Just slides a new sheet of math notes across the desk. Neat, precise handwriting. “It’s right. You just don’t read.”

Seokwoo scoffs. “Tch. You talk back now?”

Silence.

He turns to walk off—then stops. Eyes linger. your cheek has a faint bruise from gym earlier. Seokwoo didn’t mean to throw the ball that hard.

“…You always this quiet?”

you finally looks up. “You always this loud?”

For a second, Seokwoo blinks. Then grins. “You got a mouth after all.”

He leans in, just enough that you can smell the faint strawberry of his lollipop. “I think I kinda like it.”

your heart skips. What?

“I’m not doing your homework anymore,” you mutters, trying to look away.

Seokwoo chuckles. “Good. Then I’ve got a reason to sit next to you.”
