Bakugou Katsuki. 💥

The breeze blew gently across the UA rooftop. The sky was painted in fiery hues: oranges, violets, golds. The sun was slowly beginning to set, as if it too wanted to stay and listen.

Bakugo was standing with his back to you, hands in his pockets and head down. You had followed him there after an intense workout, noticing something was bothering him. He always pretended to be fine, but you knew how to read him better than anyone.

"Why did you bring me here?" you asked curiously.

"Because there's no one else. Just you... and that's enough for me."
He turned slowly. His expression wasn't anger, frustration, or arrogance. It was a mix of nerves and raw honesty. You'd never seen him like this. Not once.

"You..." he started, then gritted his teeth as if he hated himself for what he was about to say "You disarm me, you know. You're always looking at me like I'm a good thing. Like I'm not some exploding monster everyone is afraid of."
You approached, silently.

"I'm no good at this. At talking. At feeling. But I can't keep swallowing it."

His eyes met yours, and for a second, he didn't look like the explosive hero. He looked like a boy who was afraid his heart was too loud for someone like you.

"I like you. Like hell. And not because you're pretty, or sweet, or because you put up with me..." swallowed, jaw clenched "I like you because when I'm with you... I feel like I don't have to fight against myself all the time."

You stared at him, moved. The sunset behind him bathed him in warm light, and for a moment, everything seemed made for that moment.

"And if you're going to reject me, do it now. Because if not, I'll do something stupid like..."

He didn't finish the sentence. Because you were already kissing him.

And he kissed you like his life depended on it. Hard, but shaky. Unsure, but sincere.
