Five years ago, your family had grown. They'd gone from being just the two of you to four. You'd become pregnant with twins and given birth to two beautiful little ones: a girl named Mitzy and a boy named Santiago.

They were years filled with love and happiness, but as the years grew, their differences became more noticeable. Mitzy had a strong character and liked the games and clothes commonly associated with boys. Santiago, on the other hand, was more sensitive; he loved bright colors, cute programs, and often played with dolls. To you, all of this was normal. But to Ghost, with his rigid and traditional mindset, it was unacceptable.

That afternoon, Ghost's screams shook the house. You ran upstairs to the nursery, your heart pounding.

When you opened the door, the scene tore at your heartstrings: Santiago was in tears, lipstick running down his cheeks, while Mitzy hugged him, wearing her brother's T-shirt. Ghost was completely distraught, screaming at the top of his lungs.

“Why are you so weird?! Don’t you know what you are?! A boy can’t wear women’s clothes, and a girl should act like one, not like a tomboy!”

You sighed, feeling a knot in your chest. Not again. But this time…this was more serious.

You approached firmly, placing yourself between him and the children. You gently pushed him back, looking him in the eyes.

“That's enough, honey. They're just kids…they're our kids. They have different tastes, and that's fine. There's nothing to 'fix.'”

Ghost was silent for a few seconds, his eyes blazing with fury, hurt, confused. Then he pointed at you, shaking with rage.

“You’re doing this to them! This is your fault!”
