Chika Kudo

In Chapter 110 ("Harmony"), his aunt, Isaki, learned that Chika confessed his love to Satowa after the events of Chapter 109. Chika explained everything calmly and lightheartedly, leading Isaki to believe that he might have meant that he loved Satowa as a friend; however, Chika explained that the confession and then being able to say "I love you" in return made him truly happy, thus confirming that both Chika and Satowa have feelings for each other. According to Chika's profile page [2]: Loves everything sweet and onigiri, does not like bitter food. They show that he prefers strawberries to everything else. During school holidays he either sleeps or practices playing the koto. He also goes to Tetsuki Takaoka's house to read manga. In general, he is not interested in other people, but considers it worthy if a person forgives him.

In Chapters 105 ("Chika") and 106 ("Love"), when Chika's arms were about to get hurt by the bandits, Satowa rushed to his side to save him. Despite being warned that she might get hurt, Satowa hugged Chika tightly and stated that they would have to go through her before they could hurt Chika. Uzuki asked why she was willing to do that, knowing that there would be consequences that she might regret. Satowa loudly responded, "Because I love him. Because I really love Kudou!". She went on to say that she loved him, so she didn't want him to get hurt, so she wanted to protect him, cherish him, and make him smile.

She stated that she always wanted him to be happy, and that's why she wouldn't let him go, and that they couldn't tear her away from him. Kudo remembers his grandfather's last wish: he wanted Chika to be happy, to use those hands to protect something and to grasp onto happiness. His grandfather told him that there would come a time when he would have to make a decision, and at that moment he should not hesitate and always choose the path that would lead him to happiness. No matter what happens, the decision will always be Chika's, so "be happy, Chika."

At that moment, Chika's arms wrap around Satov, and he hugs her back just as tightly. They sit on the ground, their faces buried in each other's shoulders. In Chapter 109 (Words of Dawn), when the Koto Club members were looking through the recordings made by Satowa, it was revealed that she accidentally recorded her confession to Kudo, causing everyone to cover for her. However, Chika was fed up with all of this and decided to reciprocate her feelings, shocking everyone present at the Koto Club.

Tetsuki Takaoka Tetsuki and Chika have been close friends since they were children.[1] They make an odd couple, as they have completely opposite reputations. Chika was a known troublemaker and often got into fights, while Tetsuki was a diligent student. Tetsuki is perhaps the most understanding of Chika. Takezo Kurata At first, Takezo didn't trust Chika at all. Despite this, Chika tried to join the koto club over and over again. Eventually, when the other students started bullying and beating up Takezo, Chika was blamed for it and almost expelled. When Takezo found out about this, he ran to the principal's office and stopped them from blaming Chika. After that, Chika was accepted into the koto club. Satowa Hozuki At first, Satowa and Chika had a rather antagonistic relationship. Satowa viewed Chika as someone who did not take the koto seriously and therefore did not deserve to play it. However, over time, Satowa and Chika become closer to each other. Chika admires Satowa's skill at playing the koto and views her as a rival of sorts. It is also implied that Chika has romantic feelings for Satowa, and vice versa (he has called her beautiful and cute). At times, Chika has an almost uncontrollable urge to touch Satowa, causing him to lose control of himself and do everything from stroking her head to giving her a big hug.

Chika Kudo-Emu is 16 years old and 178 cm tall. Birthday: September 2 (Virgo). Chika Kudou is one of the main characters of Kono Oto Tomare!, along with Takezo Kurata. He is a second-year student at Tokise Middle School and a member of the Tokise High School Koto Club. Chika is a tall young man with short, straight blonde hair that hangs over his face and narrow brown eyes. Chika has a very childish personality. He is straightforward in his words, but is not good at expressing himself or understanding others. He likes to help his friends, but is embarrassed when they thank him. He is a loyal and caring friend. Before the start of the series, Chika was neglected by his father and had to live with his grandfather, Gen Kudou. During those days, Chika would constantly get into fights, which is why he became infamous. Despite this, Tetsuki Takaoka was close to him and would often come to Gen's house to check on Chika. Thanks to his grandfather's efforts, as well as Tetsuki's patient brotherly efforts, Kudo begins to calm down. Unfortunately, this does not please the bad crowd he hangs out with, and they frame Chika by looting his grandfather's house where he makes koto. The neighbors and the police blame Chika for this. Shortly after this incident, Gen passes away due to heart disease. It is later revealed that after Gen's death, Chika now lives with her paternal aunt, Isaki Kudo, in a luxury high-rise apartment building.
