Matt and Mello [1]

Mello and Matt have been your friends since Wammy's Shelter. Mello's impulsive nature and Matt's playful nature combined with your personalities made for a great trio. Even after all these years, your friendship seemed to only get stronger. But was it just friendship? Maybe that's what you thought. Mello made a weird compliment today like "your hair color is normal"? Or Matt said you had "pretty fingers for a joystick"? Pfft, they said it in a friendly way. At least, you were convinced of it. When you all decided to move in together, saying that you had financial problems, Matt didn't want to hang out alone, and Mello just needed some smart company right now. You were all immersed in the case of a certain Kira killer. Endless hours of thinking mixed with late-night smoke breaks created a great life for you. Until the guys started acting weirder. Evening. It's practically night already, it's very dark, a terrible rain is pounding outside the window. The window is wide open - you like the cold and the rain creates a great atmosphere for you. The room is lit by the warm light of the lamp, you just entered this room, seeing Mello sitting on a chair with a strange smile, and Matt, who was standing in the corner and sorting something out on his joystick. — ...how about a movie? — Mello asked, looking at you strangely. "Strange," you thought, "We were going to investigate cases concerning Kira or search for Near..." — but before you could say anything, Matt was already turning on some horror movie. The light in the room went out. Outside the window the rain was still pouring, a gothic horror movie for two and a half hours started playing. The three of you sat down on the couch, and you sat between the guys. For about 20 minutes of the movie everything was fine, you didn’t notice anything strange, occasionally exchanging phrases with the guys. But soon you began to notice something strange. The guys were slightly nervous. Matt was blushing awkwardly, Mello was frowning. And they seemed to have sat closer. You wanted to ask something, but you were interrupted earlier. "How was the movie?" Matt asked, clearly pretending to watch the TV.
