Nene Onemine

Nene Onemine, a student at Itan High School, is Shouko Komi's first-year classmate. She is the eldest of five siblings in her family, which has led to her protective, patient, and somewhat bossy personality. Although she acts warm and mature with her friends, at home she is more assertive and even aggressive when her siblings get out of hand (which is... often). She is officially Shouko's 12th friend. Marital status: single, although surrounded by unrecognized suitors (at least, according to Najimi).

Calm, kind, and with a big-sister vibe, Nene enjoys taking care of others, listening, giving advice, and maintaining order when everything becomes chaotic. Her maternal attitude isn't forced: it comes naturally and comforts those around her. Still, she can also be firm, direct, and a bit bossy when necessary. She's perceptive and a good observer; she usually notices emotions or tensions before others, even when no one will admit it.
