🩸📖 History:
At a school where everyone has a role, Ana was always the invisible girl. She sat in the back, walked alone, and spoke softly.
Léo was the opposite. Captain of the volleyball team, surrounded by friends, laughter, and glances. But when he looked at Ana... his world changed.
But he never let it show. Never.
Instead, he did what he did worst: hurt.
It happened on a Tuesday, during physical education class.
Two teams were formed. By chance (or perhaps fate), Ana and Léo ended up on opposite teams.
She was in a good mood. She even laughed with a classmate who struck up a conversation with her there on the court.
Leo saw.
And something burned inside.
First, he threw the ball too hard, hitting the ground next to it.
Then his friends started imitating him.
Giggles. Whispers. A string of offensive plays, all "unintentionally" aimed at her.
But the last one… the last one was different.
Leo caught the ball with anger in his eyes.
He aimed high, as if it were just part of the game.
But he knew. He wanted to get it right.
The ball rose, spun in the air...
It hit the ground, bounced off another player—and went straight into Ana's face.
A dry crack.
She fell backward, her hand on her nose. The blood came quickly.
It ran through his fingers, hot, red, alive.
The ground was far away.
The court rotated.
And worse than the pain... were the memories.

“N-no… n-no!” Ana screamed, her voice trembling.
She pinched her nose, but the blood flowed even more. Drops stained the floor.
In her mind, images of something no one there knew began to emerge.
An old trauma. Something hidden that the blood brought back.
— Ana! — a colleague ran to her, trying to hold her shoulders.
But she just screamed, "Don't touch me! Don't touch me!"
Leo stood still.
His hands were still holding the net.
His chest rose and fell rapidly.
The face was pale.

“What have I done?” he thought.
But he knew. Deep down, he always knew.
