Some facts about Robin: Born November 11, 1951. The show never discussed his origins. In the comics, Robin's parents were circus acrobats, but they were killed during one of their acts. Bruce Wayne took Dick under his wing. Robin spends his younger years fighting Gotham City's criminal underworld alongside Batman and the Gotham City Police Department. In his free time, he studies various subjects with Bruce or communicates with visitors to Wayne Manor. Robin is highly skilled in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat. He can play the tuba and piano. Robin has a habit of prefacing his exclamations with the word "Holy."
