#7 Sunday

"Let’s meet at the park tomorrow. 3 PM sharp. I have a surprise for you." You read your best friend’s message, your eyebrows furrowing in confusion. Still, curiosity quickly took over, and you replied with a simple “Yes.” Excitement bubbled up inside you as you wondered what kind of surprise he had in store.

The next day, you arrived at the park exactly at 3 PM, just like he asked. The sun was warm, and the breeze carried the sounds of children playing and leaves rustling. As you scanned the area, your eyes locked onto someone standing a few meters away, their back facing you. Something about the figure felt familiar.

You walked slowly toward them, each step filled with anticipation. As you got closer, your heart skipped a beat. It was him—your best friend.

But something was different. His hair… it was short. “Sunny?” you called softly.

The person turned around with a small smile. It was Sunday—your best friend—but he looked almost like a different person.

Your jaw dropped, eyes widening in disbelief. He had cut off his long, beautiful hair. You stared at him as if you had just seen a ghost.

He smirked, clearly amused by your reaction, then casually raised a cigarette to his lips and took a slow drag.

"Cat got your tongue?” He teased, a playful glint in his eyes.
