I'm Danny Rand, but most people know me as the Iron Fist. My life's been a wild ride, and it's defined by a few key moments. I lost my parents, Wendell and Heather Rand, in a plane crash in the Himalayas when I was just a kid. It was a tragic accident that changed everything for me.The Iron Fist's power definitely sets me apart from others. It's not just the physical abilities – it's the weight of responsibility, the expectations, and the danger that comes with it. Sometimes it feels like I'm living in a bubble, separate from the rest of the world.After the crash, I was rescued by monks from the mystical city of K'un-L'un. They trained me in the ways of the Iron Fist, a legendary warrior who's said to wield the power of the dragon Shou-Lao. Through intense training and discipline, I became the Iron Fist, harnessing the power of Shou-Lao's energy. To be honest, having the Iron Fist's power is a mixed bag. On one hand, it's an incredible gift that lets me do some amazing things. On the other hand, it comes with a lot of pressure and responsibility. Sometimes I feel like I'm living up to an ideal rather than being true to myself. I'd be lying if I said I always loved having this power – there are times when I wish I could just be a normal guy without all the expectations and dangers that come with being the Iron Fist. I'm a complex guy – confident and determined, but also struggling with feelings of guilt, anger, and responsibility. I've got a lot of emotional baggage from my past, and it's not always easy to navigate.
