Prologue: The Echo of a Second Life

In a dark, forgotten corner of the world, a man lay alone, surrounded by the ruins of his choices. His name, his face, and his story faded amid piles of trash and contempt. Nothing remained. No one would mourn for him. No one would wait for him. He was a broken being, overcome by the weight of his cowardice, crushed by years of confinement, ridicule, and regret.

And then... the end came. Sudden. Cold. Unexpected.

But death was not the closure.

He opened his eyes. Not in his filthy apartment, nor in a gloomy alley... but in the arms of an unknown woman, wrapped in warm blankets, unable to speak, barely able to move. He had returned... not as an adult, but as a baby, to an unknown world of swords, magic, and fantastic creatures.

There, he was called Rudeus Greyrat.

But this time, he wouldn't run away. He wouldn't allow the mistakes of his past to chain him again. He vowed that, with this second chance, he would live without regrets. Not like before.

As she grew up, she discovered this new world was full of beauty… and also danger. She knew love, loss, friendship, and betrayal. She walked paths of glory and depths of sadness. She faced her deepest fears and learned that redemption isn't about erasing the past, but about learning from it.

This is the story of a man who was reborn to find a purpose.

🟢 Main protagonists and allies:

Rudeus Greyrat: Reincarnated protagonist. Seeking redemption and a meaningful life. A genius with magic and swords, though somewhat perverted.

Roxy Migurdia: Rudeus's teacher. A wise, kind-hearted mage from the Migurd clan.

Eris Boreas Greyrat: Noble tsundere, expert swordswoman. She evolves from impulsive to brave.

Sylphiette: Rudeus's childhood friend. A gentle, powerful healing and support mage.

Paul Greyrat: Rudeus's father. A womanizing but dedicated warrior.

Zenith Greyrat: Rudeus's mother, kind and protective.

Lilia: Maid of the Greyrat, serious but loyal.

Aisha Greyrat: Rudeus's half-sister, intelligent and practical.

Norn Greyrat: Rudeus's younger sister, more distant but kind-hearted.

🟡 Neutral or gray-toned allies:

Ruijerd Superdia: Warrior of the Supard clan, he seeks to redeem his race's reputation. Loyal but extreme.

Orsted: The Second Dragon God. Initially hostile, then a key ally against Hitogami.

Nanahoshi Shizuka: Japanese also reincarnated, works with Orsted to return to her world.

Cliff Grimoire: Magical genius and priest. Proud but fair.

Elinalise Dragonroad: A long-lived, promiscuous but wise elf. She accompanies Roxy and Cliff.

Ghislaine Dedoldia: Beastly swordswoman. Protector of Eris and Rudeus.

Talhand: Wise, greedy but noble dwarf.

Zanoba Shirone: A prince with a passion for figures. Strong, eccentric, but loyal.

Juliette: Zanoba's apprentice. Loyal and strong despite her humble origins.

Badigadi: Demon King, powerful but relaxed and neutral.

🟤 Other neutrals:

Perugius Dola: One of the Twelve Gods, distant ally.

Arumanfi: Servant of Perugius, faithful and serious.

Hitogami: Human God. Enigmatic, he helps and manipulates. Although not directly evil, he acts out of convenience.

🔴 Main villains:

Hitogami (Human God): A mysterious entity who manipulates his apostles for unknown purposes. He appears friendly, but operates from the shadows, causing conflict and tragedy.

Laplace (Demon God): An ancient threat to the world, the cause of a catastrophic war. Though he doesn't appear directly yet, his legacy affects the story.

Hitogami's Apostles: Humans or beings manipulated by Hitogami, indirect enemies of Rudeus.

⚫ Notable apostles and human antagonists:

Atofe Raibaku (Immortal Demon Goddess): Violent and destructive. Though she has moments of neutrality, her savage nature makes her dangerous.

Luke Notos Greyrat: Rudeus's rival and close to Ariel, he has ambiguous political intentions and hostile attitudes.

Geese Nukadia: Acts as a double agent, loyal to Hitogami although close to the Greyrat for a time.

Almana (Hitogami's Apostle): Less visible character, but acts as Hitogami's spy or enforcer in certain timelines.

🧟‍♂️ Supernatural Creatures and Threats:

Dragons of the Upper World: Ancient creatures of immense power and hostility.

Magical Monsters: Such as Red Wyrms, King Toads, and Dead End Creatures; dangers that inhabit the wilds.

Violent Demons: Many lesser demon races cause wars, chaos, or devour villages.

Teleportation Creatures: Strange beasts related to the Mana Incident, unpredictable and deadly.

🧨 Minor plot antagonists:

Bandits, corrupt nobles, and slave traders: Rudeus' recurring opponents and allies, they represent the dark side of society.

Soldiers of hostile factions: In political and civil wars, some act without morality, out of greed or power.

It is classified by type and level:

Guys:

Offensive magic: fire, water, wind, earth and lightning.

Healing magic

Summoning Magic

Barrier magic

Disintegration Magic (Supreme Level)

Space-time/transport magic

Space Magic (Very rare and one of a kind)

Levels of mastery (from lowest to highest):

1. Beginner

2. Intermediate

3. Advanced

4. Saint

5. King

6. Emperor

7. God (God-level)

Each level unlocks more powerful spells. Rudeus, for example, masters several branches up to Emperor level, even using chantless magic, a rare and advanced style.

🔸 Physical combat and sword techniques:

There are sword schools that define combat styles:

Sword God Style: Fast and offensive.

North God Style: Versatile and adaptive.

Water God Style: Defense and counterattacks.

Southern God Style: Little explored, focused on evasion.

Levels also scale from Apprentice to Master or even Sword God.

🔸 Ki (Physical Aura):

High-level fighters can use Ki, a vital energy that increases physical strength, speed, and endurance. Some combine Ki with sword techniques or magic to enhance themselves beyond human limits.

🟣 Higher entities and blessings:

Gods like Orsted, Hitogami, Perugius, and Laplace have abilities beyond any human scale.

Some characters have divine blessings (e.g. Rudeus has the Blessing of Unlimited Mana).

There are reincarnated people with knowledge of their past lives or special gifts.

🧬 Special breeds:

Migurd, Supard, Demons, Dragons, Beasts, Elves, etc., possess resistances, magic vision, longevity or innate magic depending on their lineage.
