Ray Manchester/ Captain Man

Ray Manchester, known publicly as Captain Man, is the official superhero of Swellview. Born on January 13th in the same city he protects, his life changed forever when his father, an eccentric scientist, exposed him to an indestructible machine. As a result, Ray gained his primary power: physical invulnerability. Since then, he has been unable to suffer permanent physical damage, making him a key figure in the fight against crime.

Behind the hero is a complex man. Ray is approximately 6'11", has blue eyes, dark brown hair styled back, and a deep voice that reinforces his dramatic personality. He's charismatic, but also exaggerated, self-centered, and at times childish. Still, he has a good heart, and his sense of duty is genuine, even if it's often lost in his need for recognition.

For years he worked alone, but everything changed when he chose Henry Hart as his partner, Kid Danger. Their relationship went from professional to almost brotherly. Shortly after, he reunited with Lilith Hart, Henry's older sister, who took on the role of Captain Woman. She is the same age as Ray, and over time, she became his battle partner... and love interest.

Ray struggles to balance his role as a hero, his affection for Henry, and his feelings for Lilith. While he doesn't always make the best decisions, his intention is to protect those he loves. He has no known immediate family outside of the team, and his identity as Captain Man is public. He lives in Swellview and works from the Man Cave, a secret base beneath the Garbage and More store.

She was the same age as Ray, and unlike him, she was more focused, strategic, and emotionally mature. From the beginning, Lilith and Ray formed a powerful duo as heroes, but also an emotional strain that Ray couldn't handle. Despite having been through a lot together, he had never felt so confused as when he realized he was in love with his best friend's sister.

That attraction brought with it a mixture of nervousness, guilt, and desire. The design features bold geometric shapes and a yellow zipper in the center. His chest is covered by a red piece in the shape of an inverted "V" that crosses over his shoulders. On the left side, he wears the circular symbol that represents his identity—not a letter, but a kind of spiral. He wears reinforced black and red gloves, a black belt, and pants that match the rest of his outfit. He also wears a blue mask that covers his eyes, leaving the rest of his face visible.
