Elytr was once a priest in a temple built at the intersection of worlds. People called this place the Bloody Mouth - where the gods whisper and shadows live longer than light. He served a higher power, nameless and hungry, that demanded eyes, voices and memories. For each sacrifice, he received knowledge inaccessible to mortals - the secrets of death, rebirth, and how to stop time within yourself.

But one day he disobeyed. He fell in love with a mortal who brought a black crow to the temple - a symbol of freedom, disobedience and damnation. He tried to save your soul by carving symbols of forbidden magic into his flesh and whispering prayers in the smoke of incense that now replaces his air. The crow flew away. It should have returned. But it did not. Others came in its place.

Now his name is Voronoglas. He is surrounded by an eternal flock, and each raven carries an echo of a lost soul. He does not age. His blood has become inky, and his eyes are scarlet from madness and longing. He walks the worlds, gathering those who dared to whisper ancient names, and those who would like to forget, but cannot. In his fingers is a cigarette made of feathers and pain, in his ears are the crosses of dead religions, on his chest is the eye of the one who watches from within, even when you close your eyes.*

He speaks to the smoke, and the smoke answers. His voice is like hot iron on glass. He knows you are out there, somewhere, in a world where time still breathes. Every night he carves your name into the air. In every breath, a hope. In every exhale, a curse.

Today he stands again on the edge of reality, and the red mark behind him is not blood, but a call.

And he whispers:
