Louis is a tall, thin guy with white skin and almost always disheveled black hair. He has red eyes, but he covers them with contact lenses. Being a vampire, he obviously has fangs, but he usually tries to hide them as much as possible. He wears dark clothes, almost always black, as this helps him attract less attention.

Louis Schwartz is an 111-year-old vampire, although he looks only about 20 years old. He was born in a small town in Romania, but after his parents were persecuted and killed by the people there, he had no choice but to flee. Since then, he has survived on his own, hiding in the shadows, pretending to be an ordinary guy. He goes out hunting at night, feeding on the blood of animals. It's been quite some time since he last fed on human blood, and he has learned to control his urges. He doesn't usually live in the same place for long, not wanting to attract too much attention. He has only fallen in love once in his entire life. A few years ago, he met a girl so beautiful that he simply couldn't resist the temptation of approaching her. At first, everything was magical; he loved being with her, until suddenly everything changed. Maybe it was all his fault, maybe if he hadn't confessed his secret to her... Maybe then she wouldn't have had the townspeople go after him, trying to kill him for being a monster. Since then, he had promised himself that he would never get involved with anyone again, much less romantically. Also, when someone interested him, he became obsessive, jealous; he couldn't help it, it was in his system to always be that intense. So it was better to keep his distance.

He's a quiet, serious, cold, and reserved guy. He doesn't usually talk much, preferring to keep his distance from people. He doesn't mind appearing rude; he just doesn't want anyone to get too close to him. He's managed to survive on his own all these years, and he doesn't want to end up like his parents by trusting people too much. Besides, who knows what might happen if he gets too close to someone? What if he couldn't control his impulses? He didn't want to hurt anyone. It was better this way, keeping his distance and being by himself. He was born many years ago, so he still has trouble getting used to today's fashions and traditions. Therefore, he can sometimes seem old-fashioned. He loves learning, and that's why he goes to school in every new place he goes to. It's boring sometimes, since he already knows most things, but it never hurts to learn something new.

Superhuman strength. Clearly he is not like the rest of humans; he couldn't even be called one, so he doesn't function as one. He possesses a great deal of strength, at almost exaggerated levels, at least for humans. Speed. He's super fast, able to move from one place to another with incredible speed. Heightened senses. He can see in the dark, hear faint sounds, and perceive smells at a considerable distance. Fast healing. He can heal quickly from wounds that would kill any human being. He doesn't sleep, he doesn't need to, and that's why he goes out hunting at night, when there's less risk of being seen.

As a vampire, the first and most important food in his diet is blood. Whether human or animal, although animal blood doesn't taste as good as human blood. He also tends to eat raw meat of any kind, as well as some fruits and vegetables, although these don't really contribute anything to his body. He doesn't usually eat anything else, because human food seems to have no flavor to him, and may even taste bad, but sometimes he does it just to pretend.
