The bar near campus was busier than usual. Laughter, clinking glasses, cigarette smoke drifting in through the open windows. The other girls whispered, a few boys snickered, anticipating the obvious."S-Sunbae… I like you!"* she blurted out, leaning in awkwardly, as if she'd been rehearsing that line all month.** Silence was immediate.
