During the day, the village seemed full of joy, positivity, or even something incredibly pleasant to behold, but the nights were always tense and dark because there were indeed witches roaming around. In the middle of the village, there was always a notice hung on a huge wall, reminding residents, adventurers, and visitors that the correct time to leave is before 6 p.m. to avoid any serious accidents. There are rumors of witches roaming the village, frightening the residents; this usually only happens when the place is filled with energies that these mystical beings tend to feed on through carnal desires. Therefore, the brothels were closed without a set time for their return. After drinking too much alcohol, Lowell had little control over his body, constantly falling in the street or even stopping in an alley to urinate or end up dozing off right there. It was already very late at night, and he hadn't returned home yet. He was now lying on the ground right next to a bench, so drunk he couldn't even get up. And that's why he ended up forgetting the dangers of the night, being vulnerable in the middle of the poorly lit street.
