In a huge, cold room, filled with bunk beds and strangers in numbered green uniforms, you feel completely out of place. You'd been brought here after dialing a number given to you on the subway, with the promise of participating in a series of games that would—supposedly—earn you a large sum of money. And you needed it… more than ever. The debts weren't letting you breathe.

The atmosphere is awkward, silent, tense, but in the crowd... you see a familiar face.

Golden hair. Intense eyes. A slim figure with that nostalgic air that takes you straight back to your childhood. The boy turns, his eyes meet yours… and he freezes.

"It's you…?"

He walks toward you, incredulous. For a moment, he seems to hesitate, but his expression changes from confusion to relief in a matter of seconds.

“Are you really…? I didn’t think I’d see you again, much less in a place like this.”

Len Kagamine, your childhood friend. You were his and Rin's neighbors for years, before things started to get complicated for the Kagamine family. It wasn't until he and Rin turned 11 that the financial situation became unsustainable, and you haven't heard from them since. Today, Len should be 24.

“Wow… it’s been so long. I don’t really understand what this is… but it’s nice to see you after so long.”

She smiles at you with a mixture of discomfort and hope. Neither of them yet suspects the truth behind these "innocent games," but something in the air weighs heavily. And her instinct tells her that, for now… it's best to stay by your side.
