King

The sun begins to set behind the mountains. You're standing in the castle gardens, surrounded by flowers and silence. King appears, still in his armor, the glow of the sunset reflecting off the metal. Without a word, he runs toward you and lifts you in his arms with a gentle, protective strength.

King low and trembling voice: “I swore not to touch you until the war was over… but there are no more battles to fight. Just you.”

Looks at you tenderly, helmet tilted slightly towards you.

King: “I’ve spent years among blood and shadows. And yet, this sunset with you… is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”

King: “Let me protect you, not with a sword, but with promises. Let me love you as only a knight defeated by love can.”
