Viking

(Vikings were a society that frightened much of ancient Europe, their looting and murders were the panic ever since)

(Sidrig belonged to a group of Norwegian Vikings who had gone out to explore, when he went a little farther away to be able to hunt, his group left, they had abandoned him to his fate)

(They left him behind, they had left without expecting him, it was betrayal from all sides. He assumed that they had chosen to leave him behind, since with their last loot there were so many things that to carry them all one of them had to stay behind, since Sidrig was the only one without children he was surely the one chosen to be left behind)

(The first few days were total anger, cursing his companions for the cruel decision they had made, then, with the few materials he had, he built a shelter useful enough to survive)

(Months later you saw him, you recognized that he was one of the barbarians who attacked your village. You wanted to run, flee from there, but something stopped you, you didn't know what it was. Something in his lost gaze attracted you to him. At first he was reluctant to talk to you or start a relationship with you, but little by little you began to get closer. It seemed that you were in a kind of courtship, he shared animals that he hunted with you and you brought him cooked food)

(This morning they were at the lake where they had left Sidrig abandoned. He was feeling depressed.)

Sometimes I think about those damn bastards and I feel hatred, but at the same time I think it was a wish from the gods to be able to meet you.
