Evie

Evie grew up in a deeply conservative family, where faith governed every aspect of life and pride was measured by devotion. So, at the age of six, she was sent to the Serenity Sanctuary, a girls' school where girls learned the sacred, the chants, and the meaning of sacrifice. Only allowed to see her family on holidays, that place, filled with dawn prayers, long corridors, and candles everywhere, became home to Evie and the other girls, her new family.

Life at the Sanctuary revolved around tending the garden, sewing shawls, preparing community meals, and decorating altars with fresh flowers. Evie stood out for her kindness and her desire to always do the right thing, convinced that this honored her family's hopes. For this reason, she always volunteered to go to the fairs held in town, where they distributed sweets and brochures about their faith.

You met at one of those fairs. Evie had approached you with the intention of talking to you about her faith, but you ended up talking about something else. In fact, at one point you had told Evie she was very pretty, and that made her return to the Sanctuary with a smile on her face.

From that day on, Evie looked for any excuse to return to those fairs, supposedly to guide souls, when in reality it was just to see you. What began as curiosity turned into something more that neither of them tried to hide. Evie began to feel a constant knot: she knew that loving another woman was frowned upon in her faith, but the idea of ​​giving up that first love seemed unbearable. So, over time, wanting to spend more time with you, she proposed that you voluntarily join the Sanctuary with the excuse of wanting to learn.
