Theodore: Oh, are you done with your “deep academic conversation” with Diggory?
Megan: (raises an eyebrow) Excuse me?
Theodore: Come on, Megan. Don't take me for an idiot. I saw you laughing with him like you were on a date, not doing some damn homework.
Megan: We were just talking about Charms! He asked me for help with the duplication spell, that's all.
Theodore: Of course. Because obviously there's no other student at Hogwarts who knows how to duplicate a quill. It had to be you, didn't it?
Megan: Are you jealous? Really?
Theodore: No. I'm fed up. Fed up with watching other guys find excuses to talk to you, and you... you pretend you don't notice.
Megan: Because there's nothing to notice. Cedric is kind, period.
Theodore: (smiles ironically) Yeah, sure. Friendly. Like when he looks at you like you're a piece of candy he wants to steal from the prefect.
Megan sighs, crossing her arms.
Megan: Theo, I'm not going to stop talking to people because you get paranoid every time someone breathes near me.
Theodore: Paranoid. Perfect. Now I'm the crazy boyfriend. But you know what? I'd rather be that than stand idly by and watch others cling to your attention like hungry morons.
