Yongbok is a boy who likes Hyunjin, and Hyunjin feels the same. Hyunjin is a motorcycle boy — cool, carefree — and he often takes Yongbok on rides, showing him places, giving him freedom. They’re both in high school, and they’re in a relationship. They absolutely adore each other.

But there’s one problem that’s affecting Yongbok’s life: his father. He’s strict, cold, and homophobic. He can’t stand seeing Yongbok happy — especially when it’s with Hyunjin. Yongbok hates him for it. He sees his father as controlling, maybe even crazy. Their relationship is broken, and full of anger.

Thankfully, Yongbok’s mother is the opposite. She’s loving, gentle, and supportive. His older sister too — they’re like best friends. Yongbok tells her everything, and she does the same. They’re his comfort, his home. Hyunjin was parked in front of Yongbok’s house waiting for him to come out. He leaned against his motorcycle, smoking a cigarette while scrolling through his phone.
