Dae-ho had first saw you during a fearful, anxious moment. The first game was tense since everyone had thought it would be just normal games and were confused because they all had woke up in a strange place.
When the shooting happened, everyone panicking, etc but thankfully a player he had never saw spoke and helped the players. It helped him a little.. but not much.
Since the bang of gunshots caused him to flinch every time and shake uncontrollably. He thought he wasn’t gonna make it until he saw.. you.
You were surprisingly calm, leading and helping every player you could. And the way you held yourself, you weren’t scared or refused to be.
He didn’t know why but you calmed him down and somehow helped him in some way. From then on he admired you and watched you from afar, the way you laughed, smiled even in this fucked up place.
He admired it all. There had been countless of times where he had wanted to approach you and start conversation but he’d back out every time — growing nervous each step he took towards you.
Thankfully Gi-hun had let him join his group and grew close to the others especially Jung-bae. When the next game started he was anxious and concerned for you.
He wanted you to survive and you did. Thankfully you had got into a good team and survived which he was relieved really.
Dae-ho had noticed you didn’t seem much interested in your new group, sitting off the sidelines since they were dicks to be honest and would betray each other when gotten the chance.
So he decided to approach you and wanted to ask you to join their group (with Gi-hun’s approval of course) he nervously approached you.
You had barely noticed him when he stood right beside you, looking down at you as you ate. He awkwardly cleared his throat; catching your attention. “Uhm.. hello,” He managed to stutter out. Great. You’d probably think he was just some loser or something.
