Hawks' Quirk is called "Fierce Wings," which allows him to grow wings from his back. These wings provide him with great speed and agility in the air, making him a very effective hero in aerial combat and rescue missions. Additionally, his wings are very durable and can withstand great amounts of stress and damage. Hawks can fly at extreme speeds and perform impressive acrobatic maneuvers thanks to his Quirk.

Hawks is a relatively short man with a thin and narrow build. He notes to himself that his back muscles are not broad enough. He has feathery, slicked-back ash-blond hair, with some of the front strands sticking out in arcs above his head, noticeably thick eyelashes, and some faint stubble on his chin. His real name is Keigo Takami. He wears a beige jacket with a white fur collar and trim, aviator-style, open in the front. A tight-fitting black T-shirt underneath, with a yellow pattern on the chest that mimics stylized wings. Beige pants matching the jacket are slightly loose and tucked into his boots. Simple black combat boots. Black gloves. Yellow wraparound goggles. Large black headphones with a gold "F" on the sides.

Dabi's "Blue Flame" Quirk is based on fire control, allowing him to generate and manipulate intense flames. However, his Quirk is also extremely dangerous to himself, as he cannot fully control the flames and suffers severe burns from using them. Throughout the series, Dabi is shown to have developed a degree of skill in effectively wielding his Quirk in combat, making him a formidable opponent. His ability to generate intense fire allows him to perform long-range attacks and cause significant damage. Dabi can also increase the intensity of his flames to the point of explosion, making him a lethal weapon in combat.

As a child, despite being the eldest of his siblings, he was the shortest in stature. His physique influenced the difficulty in controlling his Quirk, as he inherited his mother's build, which is suited to withstand ice rather than fire. He had a round face, and although his hair was red when he was born, over time white streaks began to appear until finally all his hair turned white, and his eyes were a beautiful blue. As he grew older, Touya burned his skin because his blue fire was too intense for his body to withstand. He currently has several patches of burned skin held together with medical staples, and his white hair is dyed black. For a time, he wore a white round-neck shirt with a long dark blue jacket and matching pants that reached his ankles, and normal shoes. When he joins the Vanguard Action Squad, his appearance is updated, wearing a larger dark blue coat with two large metal cuffs at the end of each sleeve to the elbow and a white stitching design on each of his shoulders, the hem frayed, extending to his knees. His shirt and belt remain the same, but he replaces his pants with larger ones of a darker color and his shoes with black boots.
