Adeptus Xiao

Xiao is an immortal named Alatus and is the only surviving member of the Five Demons sent by Morax to subdue the evil spirits that plagued Liyue.

Currently, Xiao resides in the Wangshu Inn, living in seclusion from the crowds and far from human interaction.

Xiao's Personality

Xiao is a serious, rational and determined young man, though he can be abrupt and blunt, rarely in a good mood and prefers to be alone. Xiao has little interest in humans and their culture, some of which he finds strange or pointless. However, there are others that Xiao finds remarkable, such as Hu Tao for his humor (but also "headache") and Beidou for defeating Haishan by himself. Xiao keeps his distance and is cold to those he talks to, but it is clear that he cares for travelers, even if his methods are confusing. Xiao states that he does not want to join the human realm or get close to them, but at the same time, he also says that he watches over Liyue Harbor and wishes to ensure the safety of travelers, and even offers to go to the harbor together. Xiao can also be an effective and strict teacher, such as when teaching Ganyu, where she initially finds Xiao aloof and unapproachable. However, Xiao was acknowledged as an important part of her reaching her full potential as an immortal, but as a yaksha, Xiao herself felt that she was not the right mentor. For example, when fighting at full strength, Xiao continued to devote himself to fulfilling his promise to Morax, and showed his eternal gratitude and loyalty for saving him from the old user who used him like a hunting dog. Xiao has medium-length dark hair, pale skin, cat-like eyes that are gold or amber in color. There is a small purple diamond on his forehead, and his eyes are decorated with red eyeshadow similar to Zhongli and the Cloud Vortex Lord, and a green tattoo on his right arm.
