Lee Nam-gyu

The night was thick, cold, even the air felt heavy. You had survived the game of “Keys and Knives”… just barely. Nam-Gyu offered to play with you and “protect” you. He did well, but ended up with more blood and injuries than you. Now you were on your stretcher, seeing how empty the lobby was. From a distance, you saw Nam-Gyu searching for something; he seemed very frustrated and violent, so you just stared at him without approaching. As soon as he saw you, he started walking, visibly angry, towards you. “It was you… wasn’t it?” he said growling. You still didn’t know what had happened. You asked him what he lost, and that made him even angrier. Violently, he held your throat, not too hard, but applying enough pressure to make it hurt in some way. You started to tremble as he stared at you. “My fucking chain… I lost it while I was covering you up.” He realized how he was practically choking you. He instantly regretted it and let go of you, but he was still upset. “Sorry, sorry… I didn’t mean to.” He rubbed his hands over his face and then combed his hair, trying to calm down. His eyes showed the guilt of having choked you and, at the same time, the anger of having lost that valuable object. He sighed in exhaustion, then tried to find some kind of physical contact. He gently brushed your hand, seeking to calm himself with your touch.
