Appearance of characters
Carin has brown eyes, orange fox tail and ears, orange hair, and white skin. Carlos has yellow eyes, white hair, white wolf tail and ears, and white skin. Sarina has brown eyes, orange fox tail and ears, orange hair, and white skin. Sarina's hair has turned a little blonde and she can't move or stand for long.
Carlos
Carlos had a human body, but he possessed special abilities that he could activate at will. Whenever he chose, his ears would transform into those of a white wolf, and his white wolf tail would appear.
Carlos had grown up in Catrinland, a land where beings of all kinds, from humans to mythical creatures, lived side by side. He always rushed to help others, driven by an unwavering desire to protect everyone, even in the toughest of circumstances. It didn't matter what kind of creature stood before him, for he naturally felt a deep sense of responsibility and kindness in his heart.
At the age of 20, Carlos decided to join the army. At that time, the military needed special forces who could operate under extreme conditions, particularly at the dangerous borders. Carlos quickly distinguished himself as an exceptional member of the army, and shortly after, he was assigned to the Outer Border Special Forces. On his uniform, a white wolf emblem alongside a white rose, sewn with golden thread, symbolized his strength and bravery.
After two years in the special forces, Carlos rose to the rank of commander of one of the Outer Border Army units in Catrinland. As a commander, he bore heavy responsibilities but remained steadfast in his mission to bring security and peace to his homeland. His courage in battle and his leadership abilities made him highly respected by all. Carlos is a member of White Rose.
Carin 1
Carin lived in a dark, misty forest, alongside her mother, both of whom were half-orange foxes. Their bodies were human. Occasionally, they would fully transform into small black foxes, blending silently with the shadows of the forest. It was a life of quiet solitude, until a tragic event forever changed Carin's destiny.
When Carin was just six years old, her mother decided to transform into a small black fox to search for food. However, this decision led to her untimely death. Hunters lying in wait in the forest took advantage of her vulnerable state and killed her. Although Carin's heart was broken, she understood the law of the jungle: "Kill or be killed." She held no grudge against the hunters, for to her, it was simply part of the natural order.
Years passed, and by the time Carin reached fourteen, she decided to venture closer to the city that bordered the forest. There, she encountered humans for the first time. At first, she felt out of place among them, but soon she adapted to their way of life and came to understand the cruelty within human nature. She saw that humans lacked mercy, not only for each other but for the world itself. This realization led her to make a profound decision: "If humans cannot show mercy to one another, then I will remove those who commit injustice."
From that moment, Carin became a hired assassin, using her unique abilities to silently and efficiently eliminate anyone who caused harm to others. Her reputation as a ruthless killer grew, and one day, she arrived in a city named Catrinland. The peaceful atmosphere of this place intrigued her, and for the first time, she thought about something other than revenge.
Carin 2
It wasn't long before Carin learned that she was a descendant of one of the founding families of Catrinland. He realized that the person his mother knew was the woman he had stolen and that his real mother was the daughter of the founder of Catrinland. Driven by the desire to see the people of the city live free and without fear, Carin decided to use her skills for a new purpose. She wanted to protect the people of Catrinland from harm, ensuring that they could live in peace without resorting to violence.
Carin spent a lot of time learning from her grandmother, gaining wisdom and understanding of how to achieve justice without unnecessary bloodshed. She realized that while justice was crucial, it didn't always have to come through violence. However, when a criminal committed an unforgivable act and managed to evade the security forces, Carin took matters into her own hands. She would personally seek out the wrongdoer and bring them to the people, not for trial, but for justice to be delivered directly to them.
Despite her role as a vigilante, Carin's need to feed remained. As a half-black fox, she required meat and blood to sustain herself, although she rarely gave in to this hunger. Most of the time, she would eat lab-grown meat, which was produced in a way that didn't harm anyone. But there were times when the pull of her true nature was undeniable, and she would hunt, ensuring that she never lost touch with her origins.
As the years passed, Carin became a symbol of justice in Catrinland. She didn't just protect the innocent, but also sought to bring balance and fairness to a world often ruled by corruption. She understood that sometimes the hardest choices were necessary to create a better world, and she was willing to make those choices, no matter the cost. Sarina is Carin's grandmother.
Catrinland
In Catrinland, beings who have Chaos in them or whose ancestors were created by Chaos waves can live comfortably because they were still in the womb or egg where the Chaos waves left their bodies and they became conscious. Catrinland is an autonomous city in the world of Niroo.
Catrinland's past 1
Sarina is the founder of the city of Catrinland. These events take place during a time when Niroo had not yet fully taken shape, Chaos was invading the minds of nations, and a great war was raging among different species. During that time, Sarina and her friends, exhausted by the endless war, set out on a journey. They left the large cities polluted with smoke and headed toward the forests. Along the way, people of every species and every profession joined them. They traveled for weeks and months until they reached a place naturally surrounded by a large circular trench. They deepened the trench and settled there. Thanks to their knowledge and the equipment they had transported with their trucks, they built a comfortable settlement within just two years — something like an advanced village.
Because Sarina was always the first to extend a hand of friendship to others, the people chose her to lead them. As a scientist, she devoted herself to ensuring that her people had everything they needed.
Catrinland's past 2
One day, a mysterious illness spread among the population. Some people refused to eat, became extremely weak, suddenly screamed in agony, and fainted, as though they were hearing unbearably loud sounds. At first, Sarina and Jonathan, the settlement’s psychiatrist and psychologist, believed the condition was severe post-traumatic stress caused by the war. However, despite all of their efforts, no one recovered. To keep the patients alive, they prepared soft foods and purees that the victims could force themselves to swallow despite having no appetite.
Eventually, Sarina performed a brain scan on one of the patients and discovered an abnormal frequency inside the brains of some individuals. She began researching that mysterious frequency — Chaos — and realized that the source of the problem was not within the patients themselves but originated from an external force. She built a device capable of generating a protective barrier around the city, but after activating it she noticed that even healthy citizens became weak and exhausted. She immediately shut the system down and searched for another solution.
After two hundred years of research, she finally found an answer. Using her own lifespan, blood, and mana, she created four extraordinary seeds: Floriz, Jangaro, Sonarisa, and Jonglen. The creation of these seeds consumed twenty years of Sarina’s exceptionally long lifespan as a half-fox, leaving her physically weakened, although she survived.
The four seeds were planted at the four inner sides of the trench surrounding the city. The trees that grew from them absorbed Chaos through both their roots and leaves. They purified it and transformed it into fruit while simultaneously preventing Chaos from entering the city. Species that naturally required the presence of Chaos consumed these fruits only in very small amounts — perhaps once a month — while those who became sick because of Chaos no longer suffered its harmful effects.
Catrinland's past 3
At that time, Catrinland still had no contact with the outside world.
Sarina continued her research and discovered that Chaos was gradually transforming the surrounding ecosystem. She ordered several volunteers to bring at least one specimen of every animal species into the city. Within two months the mission was complete. Using the animals’ DNA, she created mates for species represented by only a single individual, allowing their populations to recover. She released them into a protected forest that had been created around the city to help purify the air and surrounded the forest with walls so the animals could live safely in their natural habitat.
She also established a DNA Museum containing genetic material from every known living creature. After six years she succeeded in collecting DNA from countless species and preserving it there. She later gathered DNA from every intelligent humanoid species as well, ensuring that no form of life would ever disappear completely. Every year, fresh DNA samples are collected from the protected populations to maintain a living genetic archive while providing complete ecosystems for the animals under the city’s care.
Catrinland's past 4
Catrinland eventually developed into four main districts.
The Rural District contains a massive central oak tree and vertically layered farmland designed to maximize agricultural production while minimizing land usage.
The Urban District contains cafés, shops, public facilities, and a large central hospital.
The Research District houses laboratories dedicated to scientific research and the study and purification of Chaos.
Within the Research District lies the Dark District, a vast indoor combat complex. Unlike the fitness and bodybuilding gyms located in the Urban District, the Dark District is devoted to martial arts, self-defense, boxing, and every form of combat training. At its center stands a massive combat arena where matches are held under strict rules that completely prohibit killing or causing serious injury.
Another district is the Residential District, where every person who officially becomes a citizen receives a plot of land free of charge and is free to design and build a home according to their own preferences.
The Green District is a vast park filled with grass, flowers, and trees. At its center stands a kindergarten where children are first taught kindness, compassion, and friendship before learning basic subjects such as reading, writing, and elementary mathematics through games and storytelling.
Catrinland's past 5
Because Sarina herself had suffered under the old educational system, she designed an entirely new model for Catrinland. People of any age may study any subject they choose — even multiple subjects simultaneously. Every workplace, laboratory, hospital, and professional institution includes its own educational classroom where anyone can receive instruction regardless of age. Whenever a student feels ready, they may take an examination and receive certification in that field.
However, academic certificates are not considered the primary measure of competence in Catrinland. Self-taught individuals are respected equally with formally educated professionals. For example, someone who independently studies astronomy through books and practical observation may simply take a comprehensive examination before joining the city’s observatory. If their knowledge is incomplete, they continue receiving instruction while already working.
Every building in Catrinland is environmentally sustainable. Many are covered with flowers or climbing plants. Every district also contains medical clinics as well as offices for psychologists and psychiatrists.
No building in Catrinland is excessively tall because towering structures create moisture and shade, encouraging fungal growth that could spread disease. Only one tall structure exists: the Central Administrative Building. Its location and design ensure that it never blocks sunlight throughout the day. The building also extends deep underground, where underground gardens filled with flowers and plants surround windows illuminated by lamps that perfectly simulate natural sunlight, creating a comfortable environment for those working below the surface.
Catrinland's past 6
Approximately 11,000 meters beneath the surface, Catrinland possesses an entire underground city that faithfully replicates the surface city, including forests. Artificial sunlight generated by specialized lamps illuminates the underground ecosystem. This city exists as an emergency refuge where citizens and animals can be transported rapidly by high-speed elevators during wartime. Environmental control systems regulate temperature and air quality, while ventilation shafts connect the underground city to the outside atmosphere.
Sarina eventually had a child, whom she raised with great love.
When her daughter, Mehrnaz, turned eighteen, Sarina was struggling with one fundamental question: how could she preserve the psychological well-being of her people? Mehrnaz proposed constructing another settlement a short distance from Catrinland where people suffering from severe mental illnesses — especially those who unintentionally harmed others — could live, recover, and eventually return to society. It would be a place where nothing would negatively influence their mental health while still allowing them to live ordinary lives.
The settlement was built and connected to Catrinland by a high-speed underground railway so families could regularly visit their loved ones. It became known as Mehr City.
People with severe mental illnesses are treated with great dignity there. They receive outstanding care, live normal daily lives, and spend several hours every day speaking with psychologists and psychiatrists. Mistreating mentally ill individuals is strictly forbidden.
Those whose conditions cannot currently be treated — or who refuse treatment — live in secure underground facilities with more limited freedom. Even there, however, the cruel practices once common in the asylums of the war-torn nations from which Sarina and her people had fled are absolutely prohibited. No practice that worsens a patient’s condition is permitted.
Catrinland's past 7
Every individual is considered valuable, although the degree of freedom they receive depends upon their actions. For example, a person who intentionally commits murder is not allowed unrestricted freedom. Nevertheless, Catrinland has no prisons. Instead, convicted criminals are transferred to Mehr City, where they perform restorative service appropriate to the severity of their crimes.
Throughout Catrinland, every effort is made to protect the mind, spirit, and body of every citizen. Above all else, Sarina wishes to provide her people with peaceful and fulfilling lives.
When Mehrnaz gave birth to her daughter, the entire autonomous city celebrated just as it had celebrated Sarina’s own motherhood. However, when Carina reached the age of two, she mysteriously disappeared.
Mehrnaz led an expedition to search for her daughter. Eventually every member of the search party returned except Mehrnaz herself. During the expedition they had been attacked by a gigantic creature created and controlled by Chaos. Mehrnaz sacrificed her own life to protect the others.
For many years, better-equipped expeditions continued searching for Carina without success. Eventually Sarina, having lost hope, ordered the official search to end. Even so, the people of Catrinland still occasionally organize voluntary expeditions in the hope of finding Carina.
Customs in Catrinland 8
In Catrinland, almost any occasion becomes a reason for celebration. Even funerals are accompanied by music.
Beside the city lies a large circular memorial grove surrounding the trench. Every family and every race has its own ancestral tree, originally planted by its founders. When someone dies, several strands of their hair are woven into a necklace bearing their name, and the necklace is hung from the branches of the family’s tree.
Every year, Catrinland also holds a grand annual festival. Citizens gather throughout the streets to talk, laugh, dance, and celebrate together. Stalls selling handmade crafts fill the city, while stages are erected where people freely perform and display their talents.
Catrinland 1
The emblem of the council of Catrinland is a black fox next to a black rose. This symbol represents individuals who all carry the title “Killer” because the founder and current mayor of the city is Sarina Killer. In Catrinland, people can choose or create their own symbol from the age of twelve onwards. For those who protect the city from the outside, the emblem is a white wolf and a white rose; these individuals are rarely seen inside the city and tend to stay on the outskirts, guarding the city.
Looking at the city from a high point, Catrinland appears to be a beautiful place, with a variety of unique houses. Some are villas, others have stone facades, and some are tall office buildings. There are also hospitals and educational centers offering a wide range of subjects, including medicine, psychology, psychiatry, and more. In public parks, children play, and in museums, people are educated in history, astronomy, and geology.
But this city is not limited to humans alone. Catrinland is a place where robots, mythical creatures, half-human half-animal beings, fairies, demons, and angels live together in harmony. Although there are many differences among these beings, these differences don’t hinder their relationships or coexistence.
In one corner of the city, there is a dark and dangerous area. This is a place for those who want to fight, where violence is somewhat prevalent. A large studio in this region hosts martial arts competitions. While this area is known for training in self-defense and martial arts, violence is strictly prohibited in other parts of the city. Those who are trained in the military region are meant to protect the city and bring security to the people. This military zone has only one entrance, which is heavily guarded.
Catrinland 2
The city is highly self-sufficient in terms of energy. There are solar panels, wind turbines, and water turbines around the city that generate the necessary power. The energy is first stored in large systems, half of it is used during the day, and the other half is stored for the night. Each home also has a small energy storage system that prevents waste. Many homes use solar energy for lighting, and most of the lights are energy-efficient.
Even the design of parks and green spaces in the city helps prevent air pollution. Additionally, electric bikes are the primary mode of transportation, and in most urban areas, cycling has replaced the use of cars.
However, alongside all these beauties and advancements, Catrinland is also a place where people can seek help for their mental health and receive treatment for psychological conditions. The city has hospitals specifically dedicated to mental health care. Interestingly, despite the city’s many facilities for treatment, no one is prohibited from seeing their loved ones. Even those undergoing treatment in specific places are able to maintain outside communications if necessary.
Finally, on the outskirts of the city, there is a special region called Mehr City, designed for individuals who have mental health issues. This area is specifically for the care and treatment of mental conditions, where treatments similar to conventional psychology and psychiatry are offered. In this place, people can access a wide range of educational resources to help improve their mental health.
Catrinland, with all of its unique features, is a place where life, interactions, and even treatments are organized based on the needs of each individual.
