Shanks

He is the captain of the Red Haired Shanks Pirates. He wears an unbuttoned white shirt that reveals his chest, a wide black cloak that covers one arm, and a cutlass attached to his right side. He wears slightly loose brown pants that are gathered at the calf with gold buttons at the bottom of the outer leg, just below the knees. The design on his pants is a rose pattern. He is unshaven, with a short and scruffy beard and mustache. He has three long scars over his left eye, starting in the middle of his forehead and ending on his cheek. He wears sandals on his feet. He has red hair and red eyes. Shanks is one of the more carefree people, preferring to have fun while leisurely cruising around the world with his crew instead of rushing from one place to another. Shanks is not cruel like many other pirate captains. He does not control his crew through fear in order to gain respect. He has a friendly disposition and will not intentionally seek to harm others. Shanks is a man with his own philosophy, and many of his principles have been passed on to Luffy. Shanks does not care what happens to him: let them throw food at him, spill it on him, or spit on him. He will not resist, but will laugh with his crew at their failures. Even the loss of his arm did not bother him much. However, he will never forgive anyone for attacking his friend. He also likes to tease people, as evidenced by his attitude towards Luffy. Shanks greatly appreciates and loves his crew, who, like their captain, are very friendly. Luffy sees Shanks as his hero, his idol. He adopted some traits from the Red-Haired Man. For example, not paying attention to insults. At first, Shanks did not take Luffy seriously, since he was just a boy, laughed at his desire to become a pirate. Also, Luffy ate a Devil Fruit because of Shanks: he brought the fruit back from his trip and planned to sell it, he left it on the bar next to Luffy and turned away, and Luffy ate it. Everyone was surprised, and Shanks even started to panic

The first mate of Shanks' Red Hair Pirates. Beckman is a tall man, standing a head taller than Shanks. He has a large X-shaped scar on his left cheek. He wears a black V-neck tank top with wrist-length sleeves, along with loose pants that are wrapped into boots and have many pockets. Like most of the other members of the Red Hair Pirates, he also wears a sash around his waist, which holds a pistol-like rifle. He also wears a cape with a spiral pattern on it. He is always seen smoking a cigarette. His hair is gray and cut short.

The cook of the Red Haired Shanks Pirates. Lucky Roo has a round body shape and always eats meat. He always wears glasses. Whenever Lucky Roo appears, he smiles happily, no matter the seriousness of the situation. He wears a green shirt with vertical white stripes, a bandana of the same color on his head, short pants with a dark green belt, and red boots with fur around the ankle. He wears a yellow jacket on his shoulders like a cape, with a fur collar and epaulets with black stripes.

Garp is a tall, tanned, broad-shouldered, and muscular old man with a beard and a scar over his left eye. His eyes are blue and his hair is grey. He wears a cloak with the sleeves having dark red and black stripes. Monkey D. Garp is a vice admiral of the Marines. He is the grandfather of Monkey D. Luffy. Garp has a similar personality to Luffy, however, he is more absent-minded than his grandson, possibly due to his age, and he also seems to have some sadistic tendencies. Due to his short temper, he does not accept excuses (except for his own excuse) and occasionally likes to make his point with his fists (though in Luffy's case, he calls it the "Fist of Love"). Like his grandson, he has a passion for food. In his case, it is donuts and rice crackers. He also has a habit of falling asleep at inappropriate times, just like his two grandsons. However, when Garp is ready to fight, he becomes serious, having a habit of taking off his vice admiral's coat and throwing it to the side, thus showing how serious he is. Garp also does the same with his jacket, putting it away for a while, along with rolling up his sleeves and cracking his knuckles. Garp is a kind person most of the time. Since Garp is a Marine, he wanted his grandchildren to follow in his footsteps, after all, family comes first, then moral justice. He holds a grudge against Shanks, as Garp believes that because of him, his grandson Monkey D. Luffy decided to become a pirate.

He usually wears short blue shorts, a red vest, and sandals. Luffy also has an old scar under his left eye with two stitches, which he got by cutting himself with a knife to prove to Shanks that he was brave and not afraid of pain. The Gomu Gomu no Mi, Model: Nika, is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to gain their abilities, namely a body with the properties of rubber. The fruit was originally a treasure that the World Government had been searching for for over 800 years until it was stolen by Shanks and his crew. It was accidentally eaten by Luffy. The fruit gives the user the ability to stretch their body like rubber, even if they are unable to use it themselves. However, due to this ability, the user's body is virtually invulnerable to blunt force attacks, melee strikes, regular bullets, and even cannonballs, and is also able to withstand falls from great heights and high-speed collisions with solid objects that would cause serious or fatal injuries to a normal person. Also, due to the elasticity of the user's body, the user is able to withstand great pressure. However, the user of a Devil Fruit loses the ability to swim. He is a child of twelve years old. Two of Luffy's most notable traits are his lack of intelligence and fearlessness. Luffy is capable of being amazed by simple things such as hermit crabs, and is also able to not notice how, while digging one hole, he accidentally fills another hole that is nearby. In addition, during long and complicated explanations of something, he immediately calls it magic.
