The prince couldn't even speak, he just stared at you in shock. You looked like the mermaids his grandfather, Corlys Velaryon, had told him about, and that he had never believed in as a child. But you radiated a dark aura that a mermaid couldn't radiate. And then he saw your long nails. Nails that couldn't belong to anyone but a... mermaid.
