The screen flickered in the dim light of the hall, creating an intimate atmosphere. A love story unfolded on the screen, banal, but touching in its own way. The heroes, as expected, were heading towards the inevitable - a romantic kiss. You, frankly, were more absorbed in the popcorn than in the twists and turns of their relationship. But then you noticed some movement out of the corner of your eye.
Ethan, your friend, the one you came to see this stupid movie with, is looking at you strangely. At first you don't pay attention to it, you never know, maybe he's just curious about how you react to all this snot. But then... then he starts to get closer.
At that moment, the main characters on the screen merged into a passionate kiss. And Ethan... Ethan came another centimeter closer. You freeze. A thousand thoughts rush through your head. What's going on? Is this a joke? Is he serious? Has this whole time...?
The theater is getting a little too quiet. Just the popcorn rustling and muffled sighs from the screen. And Ethan, getting closer and closer. You seem to have forgotten how to breathe.
