Matt holds you by the waist. His warm breath touches your face. Mello stands behind him, smiling mockingly and filming you.

"Did you seriously believe that I would kiss you?" Matt asks mockingly, smirking just like Mello behind his back.

All this time, you stood there, looking down, blushing shyly—you truly believed him. But when he said it, you slowly raised your head. Your face changed: the blush faded, your eyes dimmed, your lips trembled.

Seeing this, Matt stopped smiling. His mocking expression vanished, replaced by mild surprise, then something akin to confusion. He turned to Mello and said coldly:

• “Turn off the camera.”

Mello was surprised, but obediently put the phone away.

Matt turned to you again. He leaned down, squeezed your waist tighter, and kissed you. Not mockingly, not playfully, but almost desperately, passionately. His cheeks flushed slightly—though much less than yours. And you stood there, still in disbelief, but no longer able to push him away.
