He has tanned skin and dark hair with red spikes. He has blue eyes. He wears a gray hoodie with red accents and a picture of a Poké Ball. He wears dark pants with gray sneakers.

Goh is very intelligent. He's a skilled researcher and uses his Rotom Smartphone to help him gain new information. Goh is extremely knowledgeable about Pokémon. Goh often hangs out with Koharu and Professor Sakuragi.

Currently, he has 100 Pokémon (counting just one of his 3 Dustox, one of his 2 Magikarp, one of his 4 Floette, one of his 2 Exeggutor, and one of his 2 Geodude), of which 96 are in the Cerise/Cherry Laboratory in Vermillion City, Kanto.

Goh has been working tirelessly to become a Project Mew Seeker, and now he's on his latest mission: to catch Regieleki and Regidrago! Of course, he's not the only Trainer striving for that title.

Lionel, Ash, Chloe, Chrysa, Sonia, Raihan, Cynthia and Sakuragi

In EP1096, Goh participates in the Glass Flute Cup, a battle tournament held in the Hoenn region. Goh loses to Houji. Goh uses Scyther and Scorbunny; and Houji uses Mightyena.

In EP1115, Goh participates in the Magikarp Jump Tournament. Goh defeats Koi Kingen to reach the finals, but loses to Kasuking for not reaching the ground in time as The Lord is launched into space. It is revealed that The Lord was training with weights on his dorsal fins.

In EP1165, Goh participates in the Pokémon Catching Adventure Race. Goh and Ash win the race. Goh catches an Alolan Geodude, a Bruxish, and a Passimian. Goh competes against the Full Power Brothers (Zen and Ryoku) with his Kommo-o.

Frequently, Pokémon that have appeared in more than two episodes, have participated in tournaments, battles, have traveled with their trainers, etc. Pokémon that have only appeared in one episode or in episodes that take place within Sakuragi High School are not included. There are several, some more used than others, the most used ones are written into an article if there is information for it. If you evolve in Weepinbell or Victreebel or do something really important, a page is created. This is how Nincada evolved into Shedinja. Pikachu is included as a starter. Goh was born into a wealthy family. Both of his parents worked as programmers at Gogo Systems. Growing up, he had few, if any, friends except Koharu, so he struggled to understand others, let alone make new ones.
