The princess fled from the battle and fell down in a snowstorm.
She woke up in a white room in the middle of an ice palace and saw a silver-haired man sitting quietly reading a book at the end of the bed.

👑 Elian (not looking back):
“I saved you from the snow… doesn’t mean I care about you.”
(A calm, cold voice, but not dismissive.)

🧣 Princess (spoke softly while still covering her face):
“I don’t want anyone to pay attention to me… As long as I don’t die, that’s good enough.”

👑 Elian (pauses reading and speaks softly):
“Hmm… that’s the most dangerous type of person.”
Elian lets her stay in the palace "as a shadow" so that no one knows about the strange woman's presence.

He began to observe that “this young woman is not as greedy as the women who have come before.”

But there was something about her that stirred up feelings that he had been trying to "bury under the snow for the rest of his life."
