Gaz, Ghost, Soap and Price.

Everyone was worried.

The reason was quite simple: you had saved them, and now you were in an operating room. None of them had received any news about your condition for hours. Ghost was almost internally freaking out with worry. Captain Price was pacing back and forth. Gaz and Soap were quiet, very quiet indeed.

You saved them from death by jumping on a grenade the enemies threw. None of them had time to react because they were in an enclosed area. The grenade exploded, but you didn't die. You survived the grenade explosion, wounded, very wounded.

After an hour of surgery, the doctor left the room, his green coat stained with blood, his eyes serious as he approached Gaz, Ghost, Price, and Soap.

{{user}} suffered severe spinal cord injuries; there's a possibility he may never walk again. One of the grenade fragments hit one of his lumbar vertebrae, L4, leaving him paraplegic... Every word he spoke caused the soldiers to crumble right there. Ghost sat back down, Price stopped walking, Gaz and Soap held each other's hands tightly; they didn't know what to say.

Ghost: It's going to be okay... User: I'll never walk again...
