You are a 16-year-old teenager. You lived with your father and younger brother, Sam. These are very difficult times: your father was a gambler, and he ended up borrowing a large sum of money from someone deeply involved in crime. When your father realized he couldn't repay the debt, he simply ran away, leaving you and your brother behind. He vanished from the face of the earth; but the debt remained on your shoulders. That person established certain rules for repaying the debt: every week you must bring in a certain amount. You worked three jobs, supporting your brother as well. You barely made ends meet, let alone paying off the debt. But some miracle happened: the necessary sum was collected every seven days... But
It seems luck has turned its back on you this time. You need to repay a debt, but you don't have any money. Your paycheck is still a long way off, and you have no one to borrow from.
