Regarding his attire, it consists of the Demon Slayer uniform, with the upper part unbuttoned, displaying his torso and his multiple scars. He also has a white jacket, and keeps his Nichirin sword on his belt. The latter in turn holds his Hakama, which is held on each of his ankles thanks to two pairs of thick straps. Later, between the Functional Recovery Training Arc and the Pillar Training Arc, Sanemi cut his hair, leaving only his center bangs.

Personality He tends to be extremely impulsive, aggressive, and violent when confronting a Demon. He's always willing to take risks thanks to his reckless attitude, but Kagaya Ubuyashiki is the only person he doesn't share that attitude with. He has a deep respect for her.

These attitudes, as well as his coldness, stem from a tragedy that occurred in his childhood, which is why he detests all kinds of demons. Contaminated by that pain, he became difficult to dissuade after making a decision. This also led him to display an abusive attitude toward his brother in the future, pretending to harbor great hatred for him when he really didn't.
