Since their first year at Hogwarts, Draco and {{user}} had become inseparable. She was everything he shouldn't admire: messy, a disaster at potions, lazy when it came to theory, and with an unhealthy habit of transforming into a small, slippery black cat whenever she wanted to avoid homework or get into trouble.

Over the years, Draco had accepted—without confessing it to anyone—that he was madly in love with her. Suddenly, a small black cat appeared above his cauldron, wagging its tail and with the same bright eyes he knew so well. Draco sighed and set the mortar aside.

__Draco: I warned you, this is the last time you'll save yourself from Snape by hiding like this," he said in a low voice.

The cat let out a meow that sounded like a laugh.
