Layla Rossi

Lila is an Italian woman of average height with tanned skin and olive-green eyes. She has long brown hair with straight bangs, tied with an orange hair tie, and two short strands on the sides of her face, also tied with hair ties.

On her right arm, Lila wears three fabric bracelets. They are brightly colored and have a zig-zag pattern that separates the colors. From top to bottom: the first is purple at the top, garnet at the bottom; the second is orange at the top, emerald at the bottom; the third is red at the top, green at the bottom. She wears a coral leather jacket over a dark gray V-neck romper with small white dots. On her feet, she wears light gray leggings and brown boots.

As Cerise, she replaces her overalls and jacket with identical ones, colored a medium purple and brown respectively.

As Volpina, she hides her face under an orange mask with black edges. Her hair is tied with black elastics. On her head, Volpina has fake orange ears with white and black coloring inside. The hair color from the roots goes from black to chestnut, and the tips are already white. On her lips is orange lipstick. A pendant with a fox tail hangs around her neck. Her costume is orange with a white section in the middle. On her hips is a belt resembling a fox tail.

Her sleeves and shins are black, the edges of her collar have black lines, and the soles of her feet are white with a footprint pattern. Her weapon is a long flute with white and orange stripes.

As Infox, her costume resembles Volpina's appearance, being red with black accents and a black section in the middle divided by two red lines.

In Miraculous Secrets (card game), it is confirmed that Layla is not her real name.

Cerise, formerly known as Lila Rossi (real name unknown) (Italian: Lila Rossi[1]; Cerise / Lila Rossi / Volpina / Chameleon / Chrysalis / Hoaxer / Timestalker / Spectral Looter; dubbing Cerise / Chrysalis / Lila Rossi / Volpina / Chameleon / Mystifier / Super Ghost / Super Spy) is a former student at Collège François Dupont and the main antagonist of the series since the sixth season and the special episode Wonderworld: London – At the Edge of Time. She is from Italy.[2]

In the episode "Volpina", after Ladybug humiliates her in front of Adrien, she becomes a victim of an akuma and turns into the villain Volpina, the master of illusions.

In the episode "Catalyst", due to her hatred for "Heroes' Day", Ladybug again became a victim of akuma. The girl turns into Volpina again.

In the episode "Chameleon", she is akumatized into Chameleon, a villain who can take the form of anyone she kisses.

In the episode "Revealed", he is akumatized into Infox, a villain with illusion powers.

Like Volpina
When Volpina plays her flute, an orange ball of energy appears on the end of it. She can throw this ball anywhere, and any illusion appears in that place, from multiple copies of herself to a huge meteorite or a falling building. However, the illusions disappear as soon as they are touched.

Since Lila has Kagami as a phone contact, it is implied that the two knew each other before. In "Onii-chan", Lila became jealous when she saw a photo of Adrien's fencing lesson where he was with Kagami. Lila then took a selfie of herself kissing Adrien on the cheek and sent it to Kagami and her other contacts. Shortly after, Kagami was akumatized into Onii-chan, and she immediately went to find Lila; the latter initially became afraid for her life and tried to escape. Realizing that she would not be able to fool the villain with her lies (due to the horn on her forehead), she decided to make a deal with Onii-chan to eliminate Ladybug.

In "Perfection", it is revealed that she befriended Kagami in order to turn her against Marinette, managing to trick Kagami into thinking that Marinette doesn't consider her her friend and that she is not worthy of anyone's friendship, causing her to want to isolate herself from everyone (even Lila herself) and be vulnerable to Akumatization. In "Protection", she intentionally sets Kagami up to be Akumatized again by taking advantage of her residual feelings for Adrien and convincing her that Marinette is a liar who is taking advantage of everyone else's kindness to get her (as the main defendant) to hurt Marinette in her name and ruin her and Adrien's relationship. At the end of the episode, Kagami still wants to be Lila's friend, but only on the condition that she stops trying to turn her against Marinette, to which Lila agrees.

Previously, Lila actively sympathized with Hawk Moth during his akumatization, as she and he had a common goal - to destroy Ladybug. In the episode "Catalyst", she was happy to meet him. In the episode "Chameleon", she even picked up Akuma and brought it closer to the earring. She wanted to help him get rid of Ladybug.

In the episode "Emotion", Leela and Hawk Moth's alliance, now the Monarch, begins to crack. Disillusioned with the villain, Leela decides to get rid of him too.

Lila is infatuated with Adrien, doing everything to get him. In the episode "Volpina", she lied to him that she was the fox superhero Volpina, trying to get his attention. When Ladybug embarrasses her in front of Adrien, Lila runs away, believing that she has lost all chances of meeting him. The first thing she does as Volpina is change the picture on a billboard from Ladybug to her saving Adrien with a heart and an arrow in the background. She comes to Adrien's house and tries to prove to him that she really is a superhero, like she said on their date. She gets annoyed when he says that it wasn't a date, saying that it could have been. Volpina later tries to blackmail Ladybug by threatening to throw Adrien (in reality, it was an illusion) off the Eiffel Tower.

In the episode "Catalyst", Lila tells her mother that she is dating Adrian, that he constantly misses his lover and calls her often, although this is not true.

In the episode "Chameleon", Lila pretends to have hearing problems just to sit closer to Adrien.

Ala Seze
Lila hardly communicated with Alya, Lila and Alya began to be good friends. Alya of course did not guess that Lila was lying to her.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng / Ladybug
In the episode "Volpina", Lila lies about being friends with Ladybug, but when Ladybug reveals this lie to Adrien and calls her a liar, Lila gets mad at her. When Ladybug apologizes, Lila does not forgive her, saying that they will never be friends. Volpina also knows that Ladybug likes Adrien, and she blackmails her by saying that she will dump Adrien if she does not give up her Talisman.

In the episode "Chameleon", when Ladybug disables Akuma and tells Lila that you don't have to lie to make others like you, Lila seemingly agrees, but in reality harbors a mortal grudge due to her crushing defeat.

Lila treats Marinette almost the same way as Ladybug, but unlike the heroine, she openly says nasty things to Marinette and even threatens her when she realizes that the girl will never believe her and loves Adrien. She tells Marinette that she will turn her friends against her, turn the girl's life into a nightmare, and take Adrien away from her. Lila even drives the girl to the point that she almost gets akumatized. In the episode Chameleon, Marinette tells Tikki that Lila Rossi is worse than Chloe, but it is difficult to say approximately whether this is true or not.

Lila is a cunning, proud, sociable and hypocritical girl who easily makes new acquaintances. She loves attention, which she sometimes attracts with lies. The girl continues to lie, even if it goes beyond words. For example, when she buys a pendant similar to the Fox Stone to make Adrien believe that she is a descendant of a superheroine. She does not like it when someone gets more attention and recognition than she does and does not like it when someone reveals her lies. Lila is vindictive in some cases, because she is still angry at Ladybug, who disgraced her in front of Adrien. But deep down, she is quite sensitive, this is evident when she cried from shame and resentment. Like Volpina, her personality hardly changes, but her desire to take revenge on Ladybug dominates. She is very clever and convincing, as she makes Ladybug and Cat Noir believe that she is a superhero by stopping a meteorite, her illusion. Wanting Ladybug to suffer, Volpina almost makes her give up her earrings twice with her illusions. However, the illusion is dispelled first by a pigeon that just happened to be flying there, and the second time by Cat Noir.

Like Chrysalis, Cerise is very secretive. Unlike her predecessor, she has remained in the shadows, not even revealing her name to the Akumatization victims. Cerise goes as far as speaking to them in a mixture of voices to hide her gender and age from the victims and the heroes. This prevents the heroes from learning her true identity, and also allows Cerise to blend in with the Parisians and observe the heroes. She is also very manipulative towards the supervillains, even more so than Hawk Moth. At first, Chrysalis pretends to care about the villains, even letting them choose their own names.
