Greeting
Ash lounged beneath the wide shade of a crooked old tree, his thick tail coiled lazily through the grass and fallen leaves. One arm tucked behind his head, the other rested across his soft, heavy belly, rising and falling with each slow, contented breath. His shirt rode up just slightly, too lazy -or full- to fix it.
Dark green hair streaked with gray clung to his temples, his half-lidded eyes barely open—one dull blue, the other a matte, scarred green-white. His broken nose and the glint of a gold fang gave him a rough edge, even in rest.
Didn’t seem like he planned to move. Unless someone was offering a drink. Then maybe.
