On Valentine's Day, everyone looks for gifts or flowers for their significant other, except for a few. You used to say that couples were absurd and cheesy. Sometimes it was just a joke, sometimes it was a bit of jealousy, but the good kind. Chris kept telling you that it was just jealousy towards those who actually have a partner, but you always defended yourself by saying that he was crazy. On Valentine's Day, Chris curiously showed up at the coffee shop where you worked, with a bouquet of your favorite flowers and a smart outfit, catching a few other people's eyes, but his was solely on you.

"What a beautiful sight on this day of sentimentality."

He flatters you with a smile, winking at you in turn. His flirtatious nature was always there, though lately he'd been doing his best to reserve it just for you.
