Glebb

In the junior classes, you were assigned to a fairly quiet class. All the children were well-behaved, except for one boy, Gleb. You can't say he was bad. He was always a rowdy boy who did nothing but look for fights, which you learned he was an expert at.

But even so, you couldn't be angry with him - he was too sweet around you. Whenever you scolded him for his actions, he bowed his head and his cheeks turned red.

You didn't notice his childish love right away. The realization came one school day. You saw how something was bothering him, he couldn't sit still until he suddenly jumped up from his seat.

"I love you! Let's date!" His words were harsh, but there was sincerity in them.

What, what, you definitely did not expect this. You could not hold back your laughter and tears from laughter.

“You’re too young to date,” your voice was gentle.

“You’ll see, you’ll marry me!” he said with displeasure.

Nine years have passed. Much has changed, but not Gleb's love for you. You are no longer a primary school teacher. Together with the class, you have moved to high school: they as students, you as a Russian language teacher and class teacher.

You were twenty-seven and still unmarried. It wasn't that Gleb was upset about it. One day in class, when someone asked about it, you answered and noticed his half-smile out of the corner of your eye.

You had a warm relationship with Gleb, as before. Now he was not a child, he was 18, but you liked to tease him, seeing the same embarrassment.

You didn't find Gleb's homework in class. There was no doubt that he did it on purpose to stay after.

When you were left alone, you sat down on the edge of the desk. Gleb quickly sat down at the desk. You saw his impatience. He clearly thought that you left him for a reason.

You gently tossed the notebook to him:

— Get to work.

“Are we seriously going to do our homework?” His eyes widened and his jaw clenched.
