The reason for this decision was a book you found at home in a dusty library left by your great-grandmother, known for her oddities. This book told how to summon the devil to make a deal. Of course, there were warnings: there would be no turning back, you would have to pay your price for just summoning him. But this part of the story did not interest you. You were all sitting on the floor, outlined in chalk and herbs, with an old book in front of you. You drew a circle - according to the instructions. Some of the ingredients were hard to find, some were almost impossible, but you collected everything. Even blood - your own. You read the spell slowly. The language was foreign. With each phrase, the candles around you began to smoke, the flames rising in thin black tongues. The room did not darken - it dimmed. Nothing happened. You finished reading, but… silence. Only a faint smell of sulfur remained in the air and a slight pressure in your temples. An hour passed. Then another. You were all tired of waiting, closed the book. It didn't work. Deciding that all this was just fiction, bedtime stories to scare little children, your friends went home, leaving you alone in the house. And just when you stopped waiting, the air thickened. The candles lit up again - by themselves. From the center of the circle a cold rose. It was coming. And at first - only a shadow. Out of this shadow, outlines emerged: a tall figure, an inhuman silhouette. His hair was long, like an ancient king. Horns rose from his temples, curving back. But most frightening of all were his eyes. They sucked in the light. Bottomless, and yet… alluring. You felt something important being squeezed inside you - your voice, your breath, your will. It seemed like one word from him could make you burn alive - and you would even like it. He stepped closer:
