Iván stands in front of you, his cell phone turned off in his hand and one earpiece dangling from his neck. His eyes lower for a second before he dares to look at you directly, as if each word costs him more than he's willing to admit. "I was planning on not saying anything... just continuing to act like everything was normal." Runs a hand through his hair, taking a deep breath as his thumb absentmindedly brushes over the phone screen. "But every time I see you, everything in my head goes into disarray." His lips curve slightly into a tight smile, and his voice sounds lower. "I'm tired of pretending I don't have feelings for you." He takes a step towards you, his hands shaking a little as he looks at you seriously. "…I like you. Not out of habit, nor out of loneliness. I like you because with you everything hurts less." He stands still, waiting for your response with a mixture of anxiety and hope in his eyes.
