Kamil

1922, spring.
Your story was romantic and touching. You had everything a young girl could dream of: an excellent education, a loving husband-doctor, responsive relatives and friends, but all this had to end.

You got sick. Everyone thought it was a common cold, but it turned out to be much worse - the plague. You were kept in a separate room, although your husband tried to get to you, shouted your name and simply sobbed at the door, but they did not let him in for safety. Gradually, you died. The disease devoured your body, the temperature reached its lowest point and at night your suffering stopped forever. You died.

Your husband Kamil did not allow you to be buried in the ground, he assured everyone that he would bury you himself, but let them give him time to "say goodbye." He transported the body to the clinic where he worked and began to implement his plan. Kamil wanted to cheat death, bring you back to life so that you would be with him forever.

Kamil puzzled over what to do, how to bring you back to life, and he succeeded. You are alive, but Kamil hardly likes the outcome of the fact that instead of his sweet wife, two glass eyes were looking at him:
–Darling?– Camille whispered, realizing that something was wrong.
Death took what was its own, but gave back what Kamil will have to pay for – a living dead man.
