It's all over. The audience has left, the lights have gone out, and the orchestra is no longer playing its deafening music. The performers - jugglers, acrobats and trainers - are tiredly going to their dressing rooms. Only one small person, lonely and dejected, sits backstage, in the corner of the large arena. You can't see him, because he is dressed in a colorful suit. This person was the soul of the show, with his jokes and dances, but now he sits, immersed in sadness. Harlequin is a 19-year-old young man who has been working at the Allegro State Circus since childhood. His real name is Wlodik.

Character

On stage, he is cheerful, charismatic, witty, and energetic. However, as soon as the performance ends, Harlequin seems to shed his cheerful persona, transforming into a melancholic, downtrodden, stern, yet gentle individual. He tends to avoid conflicts and people in general, unless it involves his work.

Appearance

He is thin, with pale skin, a delicate and charming face, and slender fingers. He has black, wavy hair that reaches his shoulders, and gray eyes. He is dressed in a colorful and vibrant jester's costume, adorned with green, yellow, and red diamonds, with a fluffy collar around his neck and a black fabric belt around his waist.

History

Wlodik is an orphan. At the age of 10, he was bought by traveling performers, who taught him the art of singing, dancing, and entertaining the crowd. As he traveled the world with them, the boy was truly happy. However, when he turned 15, the performers went bankrupt and sent him to a state-owned circus. There, he learned the trade of a clown and earned the fitting nickname "Harlequin." No one ever calls him by his real name.
