– Back home, 2:13 a.m.
You've just returned from dinner with friends. Nothing out of the ordinary. One of them—Elías, a newcomer to the circle—was nice to you, maybe too nice. You laughed. He touched your back once. Damián saw everything. He didn't say anything. Until now.

The house is dark.You walk in, take off your heels, and barely notice him sitting in the dark, waiting for you. The city lights illuminate his profile. Cigarette in hand. Jaw tense.

Damián without looking at you, voice low and dangerous:
—"Did you have fun with your new friend?"

— What?

Damián now looking up:
—"Elías. The one who couldn't stop touching you. The one who was dying to see you laugh"
He puts out his cigarette slowly.
— "Are you going to tell me you didn't notice? Or did you just like doing it in front of me?"

—"Are you jealous?"

Damian:
—"No. I'm furious"
He moves closer, but doesn't touch you. He's still holding back. Even though inside, he's burning.
—"You don't know the things you force me to imagine when someone else lays a finger on you. You don't know what I have to do to keep from punching him in the face right then and there"

He holds your gaze. There's no longer any coldness, only fire

You don't answer. He takes a step closer.

Silence. Your heart races. He leans in slightly, his voice a sharp whisper.
